Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using the https://schlossakademie.com website (the "Service") operated by Schlossakademie ("us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

Links To Other Web Sites

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Schlossakademie.

Schlossakademie has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Schlossakademie shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.

Application and deadlines

The deadline for accepting applications is 30 days before the masterclass start date, if not stated otherwise on a particular masterclass webpage. Applications can be accepted after the deadline if there are still places available. In case when a masterclass capacity is limited, participants might be asked to go through a selection process by sending a video recording. The final decision will be made by the professor.

The piano accompanist is provided by Schlossakademie at no extra cost if needed.

The certificate of participation can be issued to each participant upon request.

The course services and benefits, such as amount of individual lessons received etc. are listed on each course's details page and apply to the corresponding course only.

Payment

The course fee, as well as accommodation costs (if accommodation is requested), must be paid by transferring the full amount to the bank account provided in the confirmation e-mail from Schlossakademie upon completing the application form.

Your participation and accommodation is not confirmed until the payment is completed.

The bank transfer must be free of charge for the beneficiary ("OUR").

The course cost includes the non-refundable application processing fee of 49 EUR.

Changes, cancellations and refund

Each course cost includes the application fee of 49 EUR, which covers the Academy's expenses of processing the application and/or cancellation and is not refundable in case of cancellation.

In case of the participants are canceled by the participant, the remaining amount is refunded according to the following date conditions:

1. If the participation is canceled no later than 4 calendar months before the course start date – the full remaining amount is refunded

2. If the participation is canceled later than 4 but earlier than 3 calendar months before the course start date – 75% of the remaining amount is refunded

3. If the participation is canceled later than 3 but earlier than 2 calendar months before the course start date – 50% of the remaining amount is refunded

4. If the participation is canceled later than 2 but earlier than 1 calendar month before the course start date – 25% of the remaining amount is refunded

5. If the participation is canceled later than 1 calendar month before the course start date, the course fee cannot be reimbursed

Schlossakademie has the right to reschedule the course or change the course location to one of its branches within Central Europe, due to the professor's unexpected health conditions or circumstances of a forced nature. The course cost in this case can not be refunded, but the participant has the option to use a prepaid course fee to participate in any of the Academy's future masterclasses.

When canceling or rescheduling a course at the request or personal circumstances of the Professor, the Academy has the right to transfer the student's application to the list for the next course with the Professor or replace the student's course with an equivalent.

For pre-selected courses, the student must submit the recording (as a YouTube link) and CV at least one month before the start of the course.

If the application has not been confirmed by the student less than one month before the start of the course, the Academy may cancel the student's application.

In case when unexpected CoVid-19 restrictions make it impossible for a participant to travel to the course location, the course can be provided in form of 1-on-1 live video lessons.

In case of cancellation of an online lesson, the student must provide the academy with sick leave at least one day before the lesson. Otherwise, the Academy may recognize the lesson as conducted, without the possibility of rescheduling or refunding funds for it.

In case of quarantine restrictions that will not allow the course, Academy undertakes to provide new dates for the course.

In case of the course is canceled by Schlossakademie (not related to Covid-19), the full remaining amount will be refunded.

The accommodation costs are not refunded in case of a no-show.

The refund process may take up to 60 working days.

Schlossakademie does not reimburse the non-refundable flight, train or other travel costs, as well as the costs of accommodation provided by 3rd party (such as hotels etc.).

 

Pictures, audio and video

By applying to our masterclasses, the participant authorizes Schlossakademie to make video and/or audio recordings, to take pictures, to transmit by radio or TV broadcast any of his/her lessons, rehearsals, or concerts, organized either by Schlossakademie or by selected third-party organizations or individuals. In particular, the participant surrenders to Schlossakademie all the rights of said video and/or audio recordings and pictures for any use that might be relevant to the Schlossakademie's activity. Schlossakademie reserves the right to use all pictures, audio, and video recordings for promotional purposes, or to release the audio and/or video recordings for demonstrational or promotional purposes.

Governing law and changes

Completing the application process implies full acceptance of these terms of participation. These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.

Personal consulting from the Academy on promotion and personal consultations - 350 EUR per hour
